Many people use the FILE/SAVE AS menu function to rename the .QTE files that holds their quotes. After saving the quote file, they convert the file to PDF. However, the PDF file does not carry the changed name.
This is because the name that is carried throughout the system is the one that is located in the “basic info” tab of QwikQuote. When you change the “save as” name, it is only a localized change, not a system wide change.
QwikQuote has a few features that will allow the user to control the file names as desired. Here are the 2 main ways to accomplish this objective:
1. In OPTIONS/PDF you can select the “Prompt for PDF file”:

2. To change the system wide file name, click on the “Basic Info” tab in the Quote and change the quote number as follows:
