Currency Formats

Currency formats are usually handled by Windows: note that the following procedure may change currency formats for other Windows programs as well as QwikQuote. To change the currency symbols for another country:

1. Close QwikQuote. If you try to change the currency while running QwikQuote, you may cause errors that force you to shut down Windows in order to re-load QwikQuote.

2. Double-click on the Control Panel for Windows that is usually located in the Main window.

3. Double-click on "Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options" with a picture of the earth.


4. Choose a country from the drop-down list in the first box. Choosing a country changes the currency and number formats to those usually associated with that country, but you can also further define the currency format through other buttons in the "International" box:




5. Change to your currency:


6. All pricing will change to the new currency:
